A Note from Superintendent Chuck Sincere

To the Entire Springfield Local School District and Community:

As we wrap up the 2019-2020 school year, I’d like to take a moment to reflect back.   This school year will be one we will never forget.

The COVID-19 Pandemic closed school buildings all across the world. As a result, K-12 education changed dramatically, with the distinctive rise in distance learning, whereby teaching was undertaken remotely and on a digital platform.

Through it all, we made it and I am very proud of the many accomplishments of our students and staff.  Academically, athletically and through the arts, our students continued to shine. Also, our staff was given the challenge of putting together a digital platform for teaching and they made it happen.

I would like to congratulate the 153 new graduates of the class 2020. Please know that you will always be part of the “Springfield Family” and we wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

All of their achievements would not be possible without the support of our staff, parents, community members and friends. Every day, these individuals provide our students with the best education and support possible to help them reach their highest potential. I want you all to know that your work is appreciated.  It is through your efforts and dedication that our students learn and grow.

On behalf of the Springfield Board of Education, I want to wish you all a safe, relaxing summer spent with your family and friends.

We will see you back here in August and I look forward to another successful year.

Go Spartans!

Chuck Sincere
