Seventh grade Language Arts, Science, Art, and Computer classes have been working on a collaborative project about animal groups. Students researched information, created a Google Presentation, and created original artwork of their animal group. Each Friday, students present their slides in the lovely auditorium. Students pulled out all the stops this year for their presentations-- shirts were made, raps were performed, and even dancing! We are so proud of these students for their hard work, creativity, and dedication! We are celebrating this unit by taking a field trip to the Cleveland Zoo!

Students in Mrs. Hartman's technology courses visited ITT Tech in Akron, Ohio April 14th. The students took a tour of the campus and were introduced to the following areas: Drafting and Design, Networking, Hands On Nursing, and Electronics.

The Outsiders, by SE Hinton. Students are working on creating screenplays for the novel's different scenes. Students are using their technology devices to collaborate on Google Docs to create their scripts. Students will then use the iPads and iMovie to film their scenes. Mrs. Hartong's and Mrs. Callaway's classes collaborate to make this a great project to finish up the year!
