    Meet our new staff members!
    Mrs. Meadows

I am Mary Meadows.  I am very fortunate to be the new principal at Roosevelt Elementary School. I have spent my entire 16-year career in the Springfield Local School District doing various jobs that include substitute teacher, LD tutor, teacher, assistant principal and now principal.  I attended the University of Akron for my degrees and am currently attending Kent State University to continue my education.  I look forward to getting to know your children and working with them daily.

    Mrs. Meeker

I am delighted to be starting my second year teaching kindergarten for Springfield Local School District.  I pursued a career in teaching later in life and it was the best decision I ever made.  I substitute taught for the district during the 2011-2012 school year before becoming employed as a kindergarten teacher.  I have a B.A. in Sociology from Boston College and a M.S. in Criminal Justice from American University.  I obtained my licensure in Elementary Education from George Mason University, in Fairfax, Virginia.  Outside of class I enjoy watching college football and exploring the Metro parks with my Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Bailey.  I love working with the students and staff of Springfield Local School District.  I am really looking forward to another great school year.
