• Welcome to Mrs.Brasiel's Site

Hello and Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year! I would like to introduce myself. I’m Mrs. Brasiel and I will be your child’s 4th grade Intervention Specialist. Teaching is an absolute passion of mine and I’m very excited to work with you and your child this year. I am a Springfield District alumnus, and I graduated from The Ohio State University with a BS degree in Arts and Sciences, where I played college golf. Currently I am finishing up my Master’s Degree in Special Education at Notre Dame College. I live in Hartville, and have two children, a second and fourth grader. I enjoy reading, playing golf, working out, watching wrestling and spending time with my family outdoors.

This year I will be working in your child’s classroom alongside Mrs. Bogunovich, Ms. Villers, and Mrs. Justice. As a team we will be working towards mastering the Ohio New Learning Standard’s with the appropriate modifications in all subject areas, as needed. Our team will be focused on your child achieving his/her IEP goals and objectives throughout the year.

Fourth grade is a phenomenal year full of fun learning, adventure, and taking on new responsibilities. My goal is for your child to have a positive experience this year, build confidence, and grow as an individual. Since your child will be switching classes it will be important to stay organized using his/her student agenda. I believe that a good parent-teacher relationship is necessary for student achievement. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns please feel free to contact me by phone or email at any time and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
