SHS has been recognized in Northeast Ohio for successfully implementing High Schools That Work. 

 

Spring Hill hosted a spring play, built a soapbox derby car, and held a fundraiser for the American Heart Association. 

 

Students at Schrop were visited by the Summit County Historical Society and shown artifacts from Ohio's early history. Sixth-graders took the Ohio Achievement Assessment (OAA).

 

Roosevelt students celebrated "Right to Read Week" by dressing as the characters from their favorite books. Third graders went for a train ride on the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad.

 

The 54th Annual Young School Carnival, Jump Rope for Heart, and President Abraham Lincoln all came to Young Elementary.
