Classroom Audio/Video Systems

To use the Document Camera:

1)   Turn on the Smart Projector.
2)   Push the input button on the Smart remote until you are on the input VGA – 1.
3)   Turn on the Document Camera.
4)   Toggle between the Camera/PC settings until what is under your Doc Camera appears on the Smart Projector

Be patient because it may take a minute before what you are trying to show on the projector, actually shows up.

 

To project your computer onto your Smart Projector:

1)   Plug your adaptor cable (white) into the blue VGA cable on your desk. Then plug the adaptor cable into your computer.
2)   Turn on the Smart Projector
3)   Turn on the Document Camera
4)  Push the input button on the Smart remote until you are on the input VGA – 1.
5)   Toggle between the Camera/PC settings until what is on your computer screen appears on the Smart Projector.

If you happen to see a purple background that has no icons on it, open system preferences on your computer. Then click the icon that is labeled Displays, click on the tab that is labeled Arrangement, and check the box that says Mirror Displays.  Then your computer screen should appear on the on the Smart Projector.

 
To use your DVD/Blu Ray Player:
 
1)  Turn on the Smart Projector.
2)   Turn on the DVD/Blu Ray Player.
3)   Turn on the PHD Tuner.
4)   Push the input button on the Smart remote until you are on the input Composite.
5)   Push the input button on the Tuner remote and you should see a menu appear in the upper left corner of the Smart Projector screen.
6)   Select the input CVBS.
7)   Whatever you have in your DVD/Blu Ray Player should appear on the Smart Projector screen.
 

To use your tuner:

1)   Turn on the Smart Projector.
2)   Turn on the PHD Tuner.
3)   Push the input button on the Smart remote until you are on the input Composite.
4)   Push the input button on the Tuner remote and you should see a menu appear in the upper left corner of the Smart Projector screen.
5)   Select the input Tuner.
