Springfield Local Schools integrated preschool program is an early intervention program for children with disabilities and typically developing children between the ages of 3 and 5.  Children are identified as having special needs through a multi-factored evaluation.

"Gee, all my kid seems to do is play!"

Our purpose is to provide the children in our program with a developmentally appropriate, child-centered learning environment that promotes skills and abilities.  We provide learning opportunities through quiet and active play, for children to grow through a variety of experiences.   It is our belief that materials and activities should consist of a combination of multi-cultural, play based, child initiated, and adult facilitated options to meet the needs of our diverse population of young children.  The staff recognizes that parents are the primary teachers of their children, and strive to form a partnership with parents in order to enrich the learning experience.
