Welcome to Preschool!
The Springfield Preschool Center is an integrated program for children with disabilities and typically developing children between the ages of 3 and 5. Our purpose is to provide the children in our program with a developmentally appropriate, child-centered learning environment that promotes skills and abilities. Our preschool program provides a "hands-on" approach to promote academic, social/ emotional, and communicative development. It is our belief that materials and activities should consist of a combination of multi-cultural, play-based, child-initiated, and adult-facilitated options to meet the needs of our diverse population of young children. The staff recognizes that parents are the primary teachers of their children, and strive to form a partnership with parents in order to enrich the learning experience. Our curriculum is based on the Ohio Department of Education's Early Learning and Developmental Standards.Other Information
