are recommended for payment, pending audit.

1. It is recommended that the following
substitute teachers be employed for the 2002-2003 school year, effective the
first day worked:

2. It is recommended that the
resignation of Nancy France, Spring Hill Library Clerk, be accepted, effective
August 10, 2002.
3. It is recommended that Sandra Haught be
employed as a high school MH teaching assistant, effective the first day
worked.
4. It is recommended that Marty McQuillen
be employed as a Springfield Local Schools bus driver.
5. It is recommended that the following be
employed as substitute bus drivers, bus monitors, cafeteria workers,
educational assistants, and teaching assistants:

6. It is recommended that Mary Beth
Mitchell be employed on a one-year limited contract as a Schrop

8. It is recommended that Barbara
Benczo be employed at 50% as Dean of Students at Springfield High School on a
one-year limited contract on the proper step of the salary schedule for the
2002-2003 school year.
VII. APPROVAL OF TITLE
PROGRAMS
It is recommended that Springfield Local Schools
participate in all Title I, Title II, Title IV, Title VI, and Title VI R
Programs for the 2002-2003 school year.
VIII. AMENDMENT OF BOARD
MINUTES
It is recommended that motion 02-129 of the June 10, 2002,
board minutes, and motion 02-181, of the June 25, 2002, board minutes be
amended as follows:
Ray Fowler, Athletic Director, will be employed 204 days for
the 2002-2003 school year.
Dan Dutton, Lakemore Elementary School Principal, will be
employed 199 days for the
2002-2003 school year.
IX. APPROVAL OF
PROPERTY AND FLEET INSURANCE
It is recommended that the insurance proposal for Property
and Fleet Insurance with Ramsburg Insurance Agency be approved in the amount of
$74,800.
X. SPECIAL
EDUCATION TRANSPORTATION
It is recommended that the Springfield Board of Education
deem transportation for Joshua McAllister to be unreasonable, uneconomical, and
impractical under present
conditions.
