APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The minutes of the regular meeting of June 25, 2002, appear
as Exhibit 1. They are recommended for approval.

PAYMENT OF BILLS
Bills for the month of June appear as Exhibit 2. They are recommended for
payment, pending
audit.
VII.
PERSONNEL
1. It is recommended that the resignation of Mike Parker, high
school special education teacher, be accepted, effective at the end of the
2001-2002 contract year.
2. It is recommended that the resignation of Christine Cerny, high
school math teacher, be accepted effective at the end of the 2001-2002 contract
year.
3. It is recommended that the
resignation of high school educational assistant Marina Glaze be
accepted, effective July 11, 2002.
4. It is recommended that Kurtis Schenkenberger be employed as a
Schrop Elementary School teacher on a one-year limited contract, at the proper
step on the salary schedule, for the 2002-2003 school year.
5. It is recommended that Jeffrey Ulrich be employed as a high
school special education teacher on a one-year limited contract, at the proper
step on the salary schedule, for the 2002-2003 school year.
6. It is recommended that Lori Cyrus be employed as a high school
math teacher on a one-year limited contract, at the proper step on the salary
schedule, for the 2002-2003 school year.
7. It is recommended that Kara Kaufman be employed as a long-term
substitute teacher for the 2002-2003 school year.
8. It is recommended that the resignation of Manda Graham as
7th-grade volleyball coach for the 2002-2003 school year be accepted.
9. It is recommended that the resignation of Chad Hartong as head
varsity soccer coach and varsity assistant soccer coach be accepted for the
2002-2003 school year.
10. It is recommended that Kimberly Archerís resignation as Spring
Hill Junior High 8th-grade volleyball coach be accepted for the 2002-2003
school year.
11. It is recommended that the resignation of Mario Mattioli from
the split supplemental positions of assistant and head soccer coach be
accepted.
12. It is recommended that the following supplemental contracts be

14. It is recommended that Carol Wagner be employed as a temporary,
casual summer worker at $8.50 per hour, effective the first day worked.
15. It is recommended that the hourly rate for the summer painting
crew be increased to $9.00 per hour, effective June 1, 2002.
16. It is recommended that Kimberly Kale be employed as a
substitute educational assistant/teaching assistant/cafeteria worker, effective
the first day worked.
17. It is recommended that Carla Bumbalough be employed as a
substitute educational assistant/teaching assistant/cafeteria worker/school bus
monitor, effective the first day worked
VIII. APPROVAL OF
SUBSTITUTE BUS DRIVER/BUS MONITOR PAY
It is recommended that the substitute bus driversí rate of
pay be at the ě0" step of the union contract and the substitute bus
monitorsí rate of pay be $6.50 per
hour.
IX. APPROVAL BY
OHIO TAX COMMISSION TO WAIVE TAXES
It is recommended that the resolution authorizing the
consent for the Ohio Tax Commissioner to waive taxes owed by the County of
Summit on Parcel No. 5401992 be approved as it appears in Exhibit
3.
X. APPROVAL OF
LAIDLAW CONTRACT
It is recommended that the Laidlaw Contract with Springfield
Local Schools for transportation services be approved as it appears in Exhibit
4.
XI. EXECUTIVE
SESSION
It is recommended that the Board go into executive session
at this time to discuss employment of personnel.
